Mombasa Youth event to promote awareness, skills and talents, entrepreneurship, and youth workshops from different organisations. The aim is to bring all the youth groups at one event to meet their peer groups, to network with other organisations, and for referrals to their peer minded youth groups.

The need of digital awareness has been raised. The fact that youth are on the digital world daily, then the idea of this project is to engage more youths online with reliable information and awareness to positively improve their fundamental informed decision-making to positively improve their fundamental informed decision-making process. And, to introduce them to the podcasting world other than social platforms such as Instagram/YouTube.

Let’s Voice Podcast of solo and interview platforms will be designed to target young people (The Young Adult Life) and the community and to build authority over certain health topics raised, daily challenges and how to make healthy choices in their lives.

Kenya is a youthful country. Those aged between 18-35 years make up approximately 75% of Kenya population. Unfortunately, a large percentage of this population are unemployed and feel marginalised in terms of access to opportunities, representation, and participation on health matters.

Most Challenges faced by Younge people today in Kenya are smartphones addiction, conflict between peer and parental pressure, body image issues, unaged sex %& the hook-up culture, substance abuse, mental health issues & Godlessness. Other challenges are employment creation & participation, health services, education & training, leisure, recreational & community services, information & ICT and youth with special needs.

Advocating youths and the community via interviews with the professionals to discuss certain health topics in the community and youth activities, workshops, check-ups & screenings to help in promoting health awareness & preventative measures.

The aims is to develop a culture of competency among health professionals to better understand and address the unique health beliefs and practices within different communities.
Advocate for the improved infrastructure development in the communities including establishment of clinics, health centres and emergency services for easy access.
